It’s funny that many of us spent years avoiding fat at all costs when, these days, we’re understanding more all the time about the benefits of a high-fat, low-carb diet, also known as the keto diet. In this low-carb diet, 70 percent to 80 percent of your daily calories come from fat, 15 percent to 20 percent are protein and just the remainder, about 5 percent, comes from carbohydrates. For many of us, it’s a huge shift in how we were brought up eating.
